Pauline Elizabeth (Pearson) Haley FREDERICTON, N.B. - Pauline Elizabeth (Pearson) Haley, wife of Arnold D. Haley, passed away unexpectedly on December 17th, 2002 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Sussex, NB in 1931, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Lillian Pearson. She was predeceased by her three brothers; Harold, George and Eldon. Besides her husband, Arnold (they celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary in March), she is survived by her four loving children who will miss her very much; Mary (Denis) Rogers of Moncton, John of Fredericton, Jim (Anne Moase) of Oromocto and Dr. Greg Haley of St-Jean, Quebec; six grandchildren, Haley (Matthew) MacDonald, Megan and Erin Rogers, William, Katie and Patrick Haley and one great-grandchild, Jacob MacDonald. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Pauline Pearson and Avis Pearson and several nieces and nephews. Educated at Sussex, Pauline graduated from Nursing School in Saint John in 1950, married and lived in Dartmouth, Ottawa and Saint John before the family moved to Fredericton in 1964. Mom loved her summers at Wildwood Island, Magaguadavic Lake, her gardening and her family. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Thursday, December 19th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM and on Friday, December 20th from 12 noon until 2 pm. The funeral service will be held at the J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel on Friday, December 20th at 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated. www.mcadamsfh.com
