Grayson William SIMPSON

Grayson William Simpson BEDFORD, NS - Mr. Grayson William Simpson, 82, of Bedford, NS, passed away in Halifax, NS, on December 22, 2002. Born in Saint John, NB, he was the son of the late Earle and Hilda (Merrithew) Simpson. He lived for many years in Moncton and parts of Carlton Co., NB, then moved to Dartmouth, NS and finally resided in Bedford for the last 20 years. He was very active in the United Commercial Traveler's. He is survived by his long-time companion, Claire Patterson; daughter, Ione, Eastern Passage; granddaughters, Danielle and Nicolle of Eastern Passage; grandson, Aron, Vancouver, BC; special nieces, Heather Coombs and Ann Buchanan. Predeceased by his wife Elva (Sweet); daughter Dianne Shute; sister Maxine Matheson. Memorial Service will be held 2pm on Saturday, December 28, 2002 in Bedford United Church, Bedford, NS with Revered David Hart officiating. Interment in Brookside Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Special thanks to the staff of Neuro Surgery, ICU, Halifax Infirmary and the Cobequid Multi-Serice Centre.
