Joseph F. Lucci BAIE VERTE, NB The death of Joseph F. Lucci, age 84, of Baie Verte, NB occurred on Wednesday, December 25, 2002 at the Cumberland Regional Health Centre, Amherst, NS. Born in Coburg, NB he was a son of the late Frank and Edith (Goodwin) Lucci. He worked for the Dept of Highways for 20 years. A veteran of World War II he served in the 2nd Heavy AntiAircraft Regiment in the Canadian Army in Canada, United Kingdom and Western Europe from 1941 to 1945. He was a member of the Amherst Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion. Joseph will be sadly missed by his three sons, Chris (Cecilia), Amherst, NS, Joe (Sandra), Baie Verte, NB and Allan (Naomi), Dorchester, NB; one daughter Debbie Jardine, Moncton; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; a special friend, Audrey Chapman, Amherst, NS; two brothers, Bill, Amherst, NS and Percy (Nancy), Point de Bute, NB. He was predeceased by his wife Olive in 1998; a son, Ricky; brothers, Harry, Lawrence, Trueman and Sylvester and by a sister Helen. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, 3 W Main St., Port Elgin with visitation Friday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The funeral service will be held Saturday, December 28, 2002 at 2 PM at the funeral home, burial in the Baie Verte Cemetery. www.jonesfuneralhome.ca
