Garnet W. MCMACKIN

Garnet W. McMackin Garnet Wayne McMackin, 51, of Morgan Drive, Salisbury passed away Tuesday December 31, 2002 at the Moncton Hospital following a sudden illness. Born at Fawcett Hill he was a son of the late Abe and Ruby (Killam) McMackin. Garnet was a twenty five year employee of the now Jordan Life Care Center were he was employed as a custodian. He enjoyed stock car racing and helped as a pit crew member at River Glade Speedway and liked camping with family and friends and bowling in Petitcodiac. He will be sadly missed by his wife Sheila (Blackett), children Shannon McMackin (Krystyna Brown), Perry McMackin, Timothy and Ashley Jack and grandchildren Alex Brown and Jakob (Boo) McMackin all of Salisbury. Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting hours Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.. The funeral will be held Saturday January 4 at 11 a.m. from the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Matheson officiating. Interment at First North River Cemetery at a later date.
