John R. Robinson John R. Robinson 47, beloved son and friend of Jack and Elaine Robinson, Moncton, passed away suddenly in Varadero, Cuba on Monday, December 30, 2002, while vacationing with his wife, Sherry (Ring) and son John Thomas. Born in Kentville, NS, he graduated from Acadia University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. John worked for Moncton Chrysler Dodge (1960) Ltd., Chrysler Canada Ltd., and was former owner of Robinson Plymouth Chrysler of Amherst. He has businesses in St. Stephen and Amherst in partnership with Ronald White of Amherst, as well as Port Elgin, and Moncton. He was a member of the Moncton City Club, Moncton Press Club, BPOE Elks Lodge of Moncton and former member of the Amherst Rotary Club. John was an astute businessman, kind, caring, loving and a friend to all. He danced "the dance of life" and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. "Smooth sailing John". John will be forever missed by his wife of 18 years, Sherry (Ring) and son John Thomas; brother, David (Lisette), Grand Falls, NB; sisters, Janice, London, ON, Vicki Squires (Phil), Moncton, Elizabeth, Fort Lauderdale, FL; stepchildren, Rick (Tanya), Robin (Becky), Shannon (Danny) and their three children; six nieces and nephews; several aunts, uncles and cousins. No visitation by request. Funeral service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton, Monday, January 13, 2003, 1:30 pm. Rev. Harold MacDonald officiating.
