DECOU, Aline (nee Turpin) In loving memory of Aline DeCou (nee Turpin), 90 years, of Sudbury, who passed away Wednesday afternoon, May 1st, 2002 at Extendicare-York. She married Henry DeCou in Windsor in 1930. Our "Granny Cool" embraced life and loved all those who touched her life. She leaves a legacy of smiles, warm embraces, and life lessons for the many who knew her. She was very proud of all her family and she often extended that pride to include the many in her extended family. Always gracious, "Granny Cool" would want to thank her many Friends at Meals On Wheels, M.S.C.C.A.C., VON and the gang at Extendicare York for their care, compassion and concern for her over the last few years. "Granny Cool would ask all that knew her to celebrate life to the fullest, enjoy what you have and kiss the ones you love. And after all is said and done, raise a glass and grab a Bingo Card and play to the fullest! Beloved wife of Henry B. DeCou (predeceased 1955). Loving mother of Joan White (Rene) of Montreal, Ronald (wife Myrna) of Onaping, William (wife Solange) of Ottawa, Paul (deceased) (wife Doreen deceased) and Gail Sterling (deceased) (husband Bob of Oakville). Cherished grandmother of several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Dear daughter of Dave and Arthemise Turpin both predeceased. Survived by her sister Lillian Lapierre of Gore Bay and twin sister Irene Klingbyle of Bothwell. Predeceased by Lena Demetroff, Evelyn Dyel, Cecile MacDonald, Victoria Gignac, Victor Turpin and Ernest Turpin. Funeral Prayers in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. S., Sudbury, Saturday, May 4th, 2002 at 11:30 a.m. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium.
