TURPIN, Gérald "Gerry" In loving memory of Gerald Turpin who passed away peacefully at home, Saturday morning May 4th, 2002. Son of the late Wilfred Turpin and of the late Ingrid Turpin (née Kujampaa). Beloved husband of Gaetane "Gay" Turpin (née Belanger) of Sudbury. Loving father of Gisèle Gallie (husband Terry) of Toronto and Robert (wife Wendy Gray) of Sudbury. Dear brother of Shirley Chartrand (husband Léo) of Montréal, Doreen Wetow (husband Bill) and Gloria McGarvie (husband Gerald) both of Sudbury. Predeceased by his 2 brothers Raymond (wife Aline of Sudbury) and Ronald "Ron" (wife Simone predeceased). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his granddaughter Maggie. Gerry was a born salesman. Never at a loss for words, he enjoyed sharing his love of hunting and fishing with his friends in Sudbury and Waldersee, Manitoba. His passions were his workshop and a fine automobile. Gerry was a man philosophical in nature. He married Gaetane Belanger September 3rd, 1952 in Sudbury. The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd., East, (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury, Tuesday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday May 8th, 2002, 11 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, Sudbury.
