WILKINSON, Frank Kenneth (Ken) The family announces with sorrow his death in Sudbury, Monday, May 6, 2002, at the age of 91 years. Son of the late Percy Wilkinson and of the late Theresa Wilkinson (née Parry). Husband of the late Helen Wilkinson (née Wood) and of the late Ethel Wilkinson (née Slomke). Loving father of Mary Lemieux (husband Jacques) of Alban. Predeceased by his sister Mary McKinnon. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his granddaughters, Kimberlee Chenard (husband Dominic) of Pembroke, Seanna Hoendermis (Dave Hebert) of Petawawa and by his 3 great-grandsons, Alexzander, Adam and Andrew. Ken, a retired truck driver, was a very outgoing gentleman who loved to meet people and do things for others. He most enjoyed giving tours at Pioneer Manor to new residents to make them feel comfortable. He will be remembered as being a happy person, always of good humour. Ken’s family wish to express a special thank you to Lorraine, Laura, Myrtle and staff of Heritage Lane at Pioneer Manor for their loving care given to him, to make his last days more comfortable. The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. East (at Notre Dame), Sudbury, Friday, from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, friends may call after 9:00 a.m. A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 11, 2002 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of the Co-Operative Funeral Home, Sudbury.
