Olive Jermain , of Kapuskasing Death: June 5th, 2002 Olive Jermain, 45 Ontario Street, Kapuskasing, died at Extendicare on June 5, 2002. She was 90 years old. Mrs. Jermain was born June 12, 1911 in New Liskeard. She worked as a shop foreman for Byng Laundry until retiring in 1976. She was a member of the Legion Branch 85 Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed reading. Mrs. Jermain was predeceased by her daughter Frances Newberry. She is survived by son Ernie (Dolly Popadynetz), daughter Helene (Jack) Stasiuk of Detroit, sisters Audrey Newman of Paris and Frances McFalen of Vancouver, brother Jim Nash of New Liskeard and six grandchildren. Cremation at the Hillcrest Crematorium in Matheson. Funeral director was the Guenette Funeral Home. Published on June 12th, 2002
