Doris Turner (née Chemoski) Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, surrounded by family on Friday, May 17, 2002 at the Hotel Dieu Hospital, in her 83rd year. Wife of the late Francis Eric (February 2002). Loving mother of Carole (George) Michalko, Frances Turner, Peter Bryan Turner, Fred Turner (Trudy) and Wayne Turner (Diane). Grandmother and great-grandmother. A beloved Nana who will be sadly missed by Rodney (Jill) Michalko, Steven (Pegi) Michalko, Joe Michalko (Sue Frey), Julie Michalko (Alain Larochelle). Special Nanny to Stephanie, Christie, Bradley, Kaille and Ross. Survived by sisters Stella Polowv, Phyllis Shaw and brother Victor (Jenny) Cherney; sister-in-law Millie Chemoski. Predeceased by sisters Mary Borozny, Rose Delicandro and brother Bill Chemoski. Doris is resting at the PATRICK J. DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, where the family will receive friends on Monday, May 20th, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, May 21st, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by a service in the chapel. Interment Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations to Tender Wishes Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
