Mary Clare Kloster (née Bodkin) August 17, 1914 - November 23, 2002 Born August 17, 1914 in Vancouver, BC. Predeceased by her husband, Henry. Clare passed away peacefully in her 89th year at West Share Laylum Rest Home at noon on November 23, 2002. Clare was an accomplished pianist and many pupils she taught continued to visit her after her move from Vancouver to Ladner over 8 years ago. She leaves to grieve sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews, a treasured friend and confident Gwen Lutz, who she talked to daily for over 50 years; also cousins from England, & the Seyshelles, and Australia; one cousin her namesake - Clare Landy had just visited Clare in the month of October. Her several trips, over the years where very much appreciated by Clare. She was an employee of BC Tel. for over 30 years, leaves many co-workers and friends. Visitation Wednesday November 27,2002 7-9 p.m. in the Chapel of the Delta Funeral Home 5329 Ladner Trunk Road Delta, BC. Mass of Christian Burial to be held at Sacred Heart Church 3900 Arthur Drive Delta, BC on Thursday November 28, 2002 at 10:00 am.
