John "Jack" K. Menagh March 22, 1921 - November 18, 2002 Dad died peacefully with his devoted family by his side at St. Catharines General Hospital, Monday, Nov. 18, 2002. Reunited with his loving wife of over 60 years, Jennie (Oct. 17, 2000). Survived by his two sons Robert Menagh, Ken and his wife Maria. Loving and devoted grandpa to Ashley and Samantha Menagh. Brother of Ed (Corrine) Menagh of Smiths Falls & half sister Margaret Kelly. Sisters-in-law Vicki Siegner and Mary Glowacki. Will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by sister Doris Flegg and twin sister Irene Peterkin & brother-in-law Fred Siegner. John worked for General Motors for 22 years, retiring in 1983. Member of C.A.W. Retirees Local 199, Veteran of R.C.A.F. Flight Sergeant, member of Royal Canadian Legion for 50 years, member of the Masonic Grantham Lodge No. 697. Special thanks to Dr. Rose and all the nurses on the Continuing Care Unit (McSloy). To Alan Arthur of Hospice Niagara, thank you for your many visits at the house and at the hospital. To Trevor Thomas, Red Cross home care, Meals-On-Wheels, C.C.A.C. Niagara, all the neighbours for their love and support. Cremation has taken place. Private family service.
