Thomas Werner Laurie Davidson September 07, 1925 - May 11, 2004 - After a short yet valiant fight, passed away at the Hamilton General Hospital on Tuesday, May 11, 2004, Tom, age 78. Loving husband of Mabel. Dear father of Donna and husband Carl Bandow; grandfather of Dawn McKechnie and Andrea Bandow. Survived by his brother Douglas and sister Florence Millar. Predeceased by brothers Gordon, James and Bob, and by sisters Peggy (Margaret) Newton, Elsie Newton and Violet Morrice. Thomas was a trade union organizer, leader and an executive director of the United Electrical Radio and Machine Workers of America (UE). Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the L.G. WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 151 Ottawa Street North (905-544-1147) on Sunday from 3-5 p.m. A Service of Remembrance will be held in the Chapel on Monday at 1 p.m. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
