Major:: Idella Marie Major was born in Saskatoon on January 27, 1917, and passed away in Edmonton on March 7, 2002. She was married to John Major and resided in Drumheller where she was employed in the nursing profession with the Drumheller General Hospital. Upon retirement in 1972, they moved to Medicine Hat and following the passing of her husband in 1976, Idella moved to Edmonton. Idella will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Marguerite (John) Dykun of Edmonton; two grandchildren, Lane Dykun of Edmonton and Sherri (Gary) Zimmermann and two great-grandchildren, Kiersten and Analea, all of Sherwood Park; two sisters and one brother, Agnes Gyte of Edmonton, Ann Krekoski of Westlock and Frank Chodoroski of Morinville; also numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters Olga and Helen. Cremation in the Park Memorial Crematorium in Edmonton.
