Will: William (Bill) Frederick Will 1918 - 2002 Mr. William Frederick (Bill) Will, beloved husband of Eleanor of Hussar, passed away at the Foothills Hospital on Sunday, April 7, 2002 at the age of 83 years. Bill was born in Haver Hill, Saskatchewan on May 30, 1918. Bill originally came to the Hussar district in 1926 and lived there his entire life. In 1943, he married Eleanor Kidd, a young school teacher. On October 12, 1993, Bill and Eleanor celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary. He actively farmed in the Hussar, Rosebud, and Rockyford areas. He was very active within the community and was involved in the establishment of the Hussar Curling Rink, Bow Valley Propane Association and the Hussar Credit Union. Bill and Eleanor enjoyed traveling to other countries. Bill particularly enjoyed their recent trip to the Holy Lands. Other memorable trips involved farm tours. Most of all Bill loved to spend many hours in his 1/2 Ton driving throughout the Prairies viewing farm equipment and grain fields. Throughout his life he valued his children and grandchildren and he was extremely proud of their accomplishments. Bill was a very intelligent, multi-talented, self-motivated individual who worked very hard throughout his life to establish his farm making it possible for his children to receive advanced education. He loved his family and he loved his farm. Besides his loving wife, Bill is also survived by four sons and three daughters-in-law, Gordon and Dora Will of Rosebud, Ronald Will of Rockyford, Dr. Douglas and Sherilynne Will of California, Dr. Brian and Carlene Will of Washington; two daughters and sons-in-law, Elaine and Keith Bellamy of Rosebud and Janice and Jim Marischen of Texas; and seventeen grandchildren, Ryan, Michael, Erin, Sophia, Michelle, Andrea, Jason, Matthew, Christopher, Jamison, Nicholas, April (Travis), Heidi, Paul, Clayton, Cassie and Steven. He is also survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Alma Morrill Zinke (Ernie) and Ollie Hulen (Robert); and a niece, Brenda Anderson (Harvey) all of Calgary. Bill was predeceased by his mother and father Annie and Otto Will. Those wishing to pay their respects did so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S "Chapel of the Bells", (2720 Centre Street North), on Thursday, April 11, 2002 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Funeral Services were held at Beiseker Level Land Seventh-day Adventist Church (9 miles East and 1 mile south of Beiseker) on Friday, April 12, 2002 at 11:30 with Pastor Warner Seidel officiating. Graveside Service followed at Mountain View Memorial Gardens. To e-mail expressions of sympathy: condolences@mcinnisandholloway.com. Subject Heading: William Will.
