Beloved mother of Ann Ambler (John) of Stowe, Vermont, Nancy Martin (Bob) of Peterborough, Peter Gordon (Dianna) of Utopia, Ontario, Emily Lattion (Chris) of Calgary, Alberta and George Gordon (Carol) of Vancouver, British Columbia. Grandmother of Peter and Ian Ambler, Bradley, George and Charlie Martin, Nicholas and Laura Gordon, John Lattion, and Christopher, Geordie and Alex Gordon. Great-grandmother of Gordie Martin. Daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peder Westbye. Sister of the late Eric (Toby) Westbye, Olga Frost of Amherst Mass., and Margaret Taws of Mississauga. Sister-in-law of Marilyn Westbye and the late Jean (Harvey) Westbye, George Frost and the late Harlow Cutting and the late Les Taws. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be held at Trinity United Church, 360 Reid Street, on Saturday, May 11, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. Preceded by cremation. At Mary’s request donations in memory of her can be made to the Peterborough Regional Health Centre Foundation, the Peterborough Humane Society or a charity of your choice.
