THIBADEAU, Mrs. Verna Jean Peacefully at Fairhaven Nursing Home on Wednesday, May 8, 2002, in her 86th year. Verna (Whitney) was a longtime member of The Peterborough Chapter #161 Order of the Eastern Star and St. Albans Anglican Church. Beloved wife of the late Leonard Thibadeau. Loving mother fo Carole Rogers and her husband Bob of Peterborough, Anne Grady and her husband Ken of Omemee and Steve and his wife Jan of Manilla. Dear sister to Doris Viney and Irene Norris. Sister in law to Gen (Jim) McTaggart, Irene (Colin) Jack, Jean Whitney and Don Issac. Predeceased by her brother Howard Whitney, and her sister Joyce Issac. Verna was a cherished grandmother to nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Nisbett Funeral Home and Chapel (600 Monaghan Rd. S., Peterborough) on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held on Friday, May 10, 2002 at St. Albans Anglican Church (567 Monaghan Rd.
