THOMPSON, Mrs. Effie Edna - At Peterborough on Tuesday, May 7, Effie Thompson in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late John M. Thompson. Dear mother of Garry (Darlene) Thompson, and Carrol Parrott of Omemee. Dear sister of George King of Bancroft and Harvey King, and Pearl Lay both predeceased. Effie is survived by her grandchildren Samantha, Zackaray, Joshua, McKenzie, Maxwell, Alex, Turner, Richard, Jack, Jody, Teasa, Shawn, Eric, Angela, Richard, Briggette, Whitney and Kelsey, as well as several nephews and nieces. Visitation will be held from the KAYE FUNERAL HOME, MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 539 George St. N. (705-745-7889) 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 10 at 1 p.m. Rev. Anne Gowans-Blinn officiating. Interment Rosemount Memorial Gardens, Peterborough.
