NOBLE, N. June (Cockburn) R.N.- Peacefully after along and courageous struggle with her family at her side, June Noble of Peterborough at the age of 75, on Thursday, May 9, 2002, at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Palliative Care. Beloved wife and companion of Walter Noble. Loving mother of Barbara Pope and her husband Charles, Jane Noble and Glen, Donna Mackey and her husband Dean. Dear sister of Margaret and William Leitch and "brother" Donald Lewis. Beloved grandmother of Jared, Megan, Michelle and Paige. Predeceased by a brother Thomas. June graduated from the Toronto General Hospital School of Nursing in 1949 as a Registered Nurse. She spent the rest of her life helping others, with compassion, understanding and acceptance and a welcoming smile for everyone she met. Friends will be received at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough from 7-9pm Saturday and 2-4 & 7-9pm Sunday. Funeral service will be conducted at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, 566 Armour Road on Monday, May 13, 2002 at 2:00 pm, with private interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to either the P.R.H.C.
