EVANOFF, GeorJeana "Georjie" (nee Chalmers) - At the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on May 10, 2002. Beloved wife and best friend of Nicholas Evanoff (45 years). The daughter of Marjorie Chalmers and the late James Chalmers. Sister of Jim (Nancy) Chalmers of Squamish, B.C. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Kimberlie and son-in-law Tom Waudby. Her two grandchildren Ryan and Shalaine will miss their life guard for the pool and the long talks on the deck but the memories will always be there. Georjie was a well respected legal secretary for over twenty years in Peterborough before moving to Nanaimo, B.C. and making many friends. A celebration of GeorJeana’s life will be held at Mark Street United Church, Hunter Street East, on Wednesday, May 15 at 2 pm. Arrangements entrusted to Trent Cremation Services, 748-9464. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Mom your fight is over, you have a new beginning. Thanks for one more Friday.
