GOODYEAR, Helen Cecilia (served overseas in WWII as a Lieutenant Nursing Sister) At Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Thursday, July 25, 2002. Helen Goodyear of Fairhaven Home, wife of the late Bernard Jerome Hickey. Dear mother of Patricia Hollingsworth and her husband Brian and Anne Wood and her husband Kevin. Grandmother of Leanne, Benjamin, Asia, Lucas, Sarah and the late Danielle. Sister of Jean Hornby, Janet Borge, Dorothy English, Dr. Donald MacPhee, Mary MacPhee and the late Joan Baxter, Jack MacPhee, Ernest MacPhee, Charles MacPhee and Bernice MacPhee. Daughter of the late Dr. John and Mae MacPhee. Friends will be received at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street from 2-4 & 7-9pm Monday. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Alphonsus Church on Tuesday, July 30th at 1:00 pm. Father Paul Massel will be officiating. In memory of Helen, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated by the family.
