KENNEDY, Joan (Plunkett) Kennedy of Tillsonburg died peacefully surrounded by her family at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Friday, August 2, 2002 in her 75th year. Beloved wife of Jim Kennedy, loving mother of Gael Hannan (Douglas) of Toronto and Louise Sherman (Larry) of Ajax, and cherished grandmother of Ian, Mark and Joel. Joan will be sadly missed by brother Doug Plunkett and his wife Ann of Bobcaygeon, sister-in-law Frank Plunkett of Peterborough and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Alan Plunkett (2002). Joan enjoyed lifelong passions for her family, friends, nursing career and golf, and was a joy and inspiration to everyone. Family and friends will be received at the OSTRANDER’S FUNERAL HOME, Tillsonburg for a memorial visitation on Monday from 2:30-4 and 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Joan’s life will be held Tuesday, August 6, 2002 at 2 p.m. at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church.
