Beloved wife of the late Melvin Stafford Victor Leal. Dear mother of Ruth Downer of Corpus Christi, Texas and her husband the late Gerald Downer, Gary Leal of Newmarket and Kenneth Leal and Cathy Grass of Peterborough. Grandmother of Angela Downer and her fiancé Michael Castell, Kevin Leal, Becky Leal, Steven Downer, Jennifer Leal and the late Janice Downer. Great grandmother of Luke Hubbert. Daughter of the late Charles and Jane Garbutt. Sister of the late Ernest Garbutt and Jean Esson. Friends will be received at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street from 2-4 & 7-9pm Wednesday. Service will be held from Grace United Church on Thursday, August 8, 2002 at 10:30 am. The Reverend Lyle Horn and Marilyn Coward will be officiating. Interment Rosemount Memorial Gardens.
