ARMSTRONG,Mr. John Bowie (Jr) (Jack) (WWII Veteran, Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #52, 40 year member of Kawartha Kiwanas Club, Original Manager and involved in the growth of the Cangeco and Kawartha Credit Union for 25 years.) Suddenly at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Monday, August 5, 2002 in his 78th year. Beloved husband to Ruth (Adamson) Loving father of Lynn (Lyle Ladouceur) of Ottawa, Joanne Armstrong (partner Benny) of Toronto, Gordon (Elizabeth) of Victoria B.C., Ronald (Bette) of Spruce Grove Alberta, Bruce (Nicole) of Peterborough. Dear brother of Dr. Bruce Armstrong (Lillian) of Alymer. Cherished Grandfather of Erin and Megan Ladouceur, Melissa, Joanna and Alexander Armstrong and Crystal Logan. Jack will be survived by many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 9, 2002 at Northminster United Church (Sunset Boulevard) at 11 a.m. Donations to the Peterborough Regional Health Centre would be appreciated by the family.
