BEDFORD,John "Jack" (Retired from G.E. Canada, 1991) - Suddenly with his family at his side on Monday, July 29, 2002 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Hospital Drive Site in his 66th year. Jack, loving husband, best friend and sweetheart of Eleanor for 44 years. Devoted and treasured father of Linda Farnham and husband Mark, Cathy Bedford and Heather Pogue and husband Dave. Proud Poppa of Shawn, Adam, Mitchell and Damon. Brother of Gary of Montreal and the late Joyce. Brother-in-law of Claire of Montreal, Roy of Calgary and Marge of Montreal. He will be sadly missed by his niece Debbie, nephews Craig and Todd Bedford and the Powell family. He will also be missed by his faithful companion Holly. Friends were received at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough, from 1-3 pm Thursday, August 1st. Funeral service followed in the chapel at 3:00 pm.
