COOK,Oswald F.C. Lt. Col. RCA (Ret’d) KStJ CD BA FHSC - Born Walsall England January 19, 1921. Peacefully at Peterborough on Thursday, August 22, 2002. Husband of the late Lilliam (Mim). Served the guns of the Royal Artillery in North Africa and Europe during Second World War. After Immigrating to Canada in 1951 he worked at Lakefield Research until his retirement. He continued to serve the guns in the Canadian Militia, rising to command the 50th Field Regiment Peterborough in the 1960’s. Jim’s interests included history, heraldry and St. John Ambulance. In keeping with Jim’s wishes there will be no service. Cremation has taking place. Donations to the Peterborough Division of St. John Ambulance would be appreciated.
