LAROCHELLE, R.D. Jack "Larry" (retired Toronto Fire Department) - After a valiant struggle, surrounded by his family, Jack lost his battle with cancer on Monday August 26, 2002 in Peterborough. Beloved friend, soulmate and husband (50 years) of Doreen (Blanton). Proud father of Wayne (Louise), David (Wilma) and Scott (Denise). Loving grandfather to Douglas, Stacy, Nicole, J.D. and Rick. Jack was a special brother to Anita, Shirley, Fran, Marie and Tom. He will always be remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and his entire extended family. He will be sadly missed by a legion of friends and neighbours. Friends may call at the "SCARBOROUGH CHAPEL" of McDougall & Brown, 2900 Kingston Rd. (east of St. Clair Ave. E.) on Friday from 1-4 and 7-9 pm and Saturday 12-1pm. Funeral service in the chapel on Saturday at 1pm. Cremation to follow.
