BARTLEY, Samuel "James" - After a brief illness onSaturday, October 12, 2002 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Hospital Drive Site, in his 79th year. James was the beloved husband of the late Betty (nee Beckett) (1997). Loving father of Julia Reid and Shirley Vipond both of B.C.. Grandfather of Jessica Reid, Jerry, Darren and Terry Vipond; Great-grandfather of Vanessa Marie Reid. Dear brother of George, Milton, Mary Curtin, Martha Bartley, Marie Swain and the late Austin and Harry. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2002 in the chapel.
