DUNLOP, Norman Robert - Born May 20, 1924- Died Tuesday, October 22, 2002 at PRHC. He was the son of Robert and Virgie Dunlop and lived all his life in the Peterborough area. Norm is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Theresa (Nolan); his children Patricia and Dwayne McMurter, Lynda and Gene Moher and Jim and Kelly Dunlop; his grandchildren Grant (Cheryl), Tracy (Matt), Chris (Karen), Greg, Jeff, Paul and Kathryn, and his first great-grandchild Jessica. Norm was pre-deceased by his sisters Lulu, Lila and Marguerite and is survived by siblings Violet, Myrtle, Milt and Doreen, Mabel, Jean and Vic, and Don and Doris. Norm served in World War II and worked at Alpha Laval for 47 years before retiring with Theresa to his cottage at Dummer Lake where he enjoyed gardening and fishing. Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday (Parish Prayers 2 p.m. Thursday). Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Lakefield on Friday, October 25, 2002 at 11 a.m. Reverend Damian Smullen officiating. Interment Little Lake Cemetery.
