NIXON, John George - At Belleville, Ontario October 24, 2002 in his 89th year, formerly of Norwood. (Former Warden of Peterborough County 1979, and Reeve of Norwood for a number of years). Husband of Vera Nixon and the late Olive Nixon (Ireland). Dear father of Eleanor Thorndyke & her husband William (Ted) of Bloomfield, Ont. and Carol G. Nixon & her husband Olgan Blackman of Peterborough. Dear brother of Clifford Nixon and Audrey Ireland. Predeceased by Clive Nixon, Maizie Greer, Bertha Harmon, Thomas Nixon, Elsie Stevason, Mabel Cane and Emily Nixon. Loving grandfather of Mark Thorndyke (Michelle), Andrea Dickie (Alastair), Brian Srivastava. Great grandfather of lain Dickie and James Wood. Son of the late Lewis Nixon and Mary Cook.
