RAINVILLE, sister Genevieve Rainville (Sister Mary Vincent) -Sister Genevieve Rainville entered into her eternal rest at Mount St. Joseph, Peterborough, ON, on Friday, November 1st, 2002 in her 69th year of her religious life. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Arthur Rainville and Marie Amelia Gagnon. Besides member of her religious community, she leaves to mourn her sister Marie Godfrey of Calgary, and her brother Philip and his wife Isabelle of Mattawa. She is predeceased by her sister Helen, (Mrs. T.M. Urquhart) and her brothers, Vincent, Frederick, Edmond and Joseph. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law Mrs. Mary E. Rainville and Mrs. Juanita E. Rainville, both of North Bay and many dear nieces and nephews. Sister Genevieve received her education at St. Mary’s School, St. Joseph’s Academy and the North Bay Normal School. She taught elementary school in Fort William, Lindsay, Kirkfield, St. Andrews West, Ottawa, Cobourg, Peterborough and Honey Harbour. Visitation at Mount St. Joseph Chapel, Peterborough, after 1 p.m. Sunday, November 3. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Mount St. Joseph on Monday, November 4, at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
