POWERS, Margaret Mary (75 year Member Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Hastings C.W.L.) - Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre (Hospital Drive Site) on Tuesday, December 3, 2002. Margaret Lynch of R.R.#3, Hastings in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Powers (1987). Loving mother of Joseph of R.R. #3 Hastings. Dear sister of Wilfrid Lynch of R.R. #3 Hastings. Margaret will be sadly missed by her sisters-in-law Mrs. Mercedes Powers, Mrs. Noreen Powers and cousin Madeline Bencze. Also fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late John J. and Lucy (Mason) Lynch. Resting at the Brett "Hastings" Chapel 2-3:30 and 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Hastings Thursday at 11 a.m. Reverend Brian McColl officiating. Interment Mount Carmel Cemetery.
