KEMPT, James Ellis (Member Royal Canadian Legion Branch 106 Hastings) At Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Friday, December 6, 2002, James Kempt of Norwood Road in Hastings, in his 72nd year. Husband of the late Lillian Marie Moncrief. Beloved father of Marilyn Dare and her husband Roger and Vernon both of Keene, Bill and his wife Karen and Shelley Hamshaw and her husband Andy both of Lang, Dave and Jim and his wife Pam both of Peterborough. Also survived by nine grandchildren. Brother of Doris Johnston, Shirley Burnham and the late Elva Warner. Son of the late Dave and Stella Kempt. Dear friend of Evelyn Calberry and family. Resting at the Brett "Hastings" Chapel 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday. Service Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. Reverend Jamie York officiating. Interment Upper Keene Cemetery.
