WOODCOCK, Gladys Yvonne - On December 18, 2002 answered the call of God, to join him in his heavenly home. Escorted by a host of angels she made her journey. With saddened hearts, her family remains but they celebrate in the knowledge she is with her Lord. Gladys beloved wife of Donald for 52 years. Loving daughter of the late Murney Sampson, and the late Jennet Scott and step-daughter of the late Nettie. Loving mother of Darlene Rose (Jack) or Keene, Glen Woodcock (Aliza) of Brockville, Anne Glenn (John) of Gilmour, Cathy Jamieson (David) of Foxboro, Ruth Vader (Lance) of Corbyville, Pauline Gunter (Gary) of Petrolia and Dianne Smith (Dale) of Brockville. Much loved grandmother of 26 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Faith, Paul, Joan, Patsy, Judy, Susan, Sam and Chris. Sister-in-law and Special Friend of Verna, Helen, Ivan, Garnet and Ken. Mrs. Woodcock is predeceased by her son Jim and her brother Fred. Friends are invited to call at the NORWOOD AND DISTRICT FUNERAL HOME LTD, 36 Queen Street, Norwood from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Funeral Service at Norwood Pentcostal Church on Monday, December 23, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ron Hughes officiating. Interment Elmwood Cemetery, Corbyville.
