PERICHAK, Joseph (Josip) In loving memory of Joseph (Josip) Perichak, 73 years, of Sudbury, who passed away Wednesday afternoon, May 29th, 2002 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - St. Joseph’s Health Centre. Born in Selo Brlog, Croatia, he married Danica (Severinac) in 1957 in Sudbury. Joseph left Croatia March 19th, 1950 and worked in Salisburg, Austria. He came to Canada November 1952 to Hamilton, moving to Sudbury March 19th, 1953 at which time he secured employment with Inco as an electrician, retiring from the Clarabelle Mill in March 1992. He was a very active and well respected member of the local Croatian Community. A longtime and hardworking member of the Croatian Hall; he was also a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union a 3rd Degree Knight of Columbus and member of the Inco Quarter Century Club. A Roman Catholic, he was a member of Holy Trinity Church and Sveti Marko Croatian Church. He will be remembered as a generous person who was always quick to help others especially in the capacity as an accomplished Mr. Fix-It in home and property repairs and projects. He was an avid gardener. Joseph generously shared his good humour with all who knew him and he had the wonderful ability to make people laugh. Beloved husband of Danica (Severinac) Perichak of Sudbury. Loving father of Catherine (husband Gordon Bobesich) and John (wife Linda) both of Oakville and Joseph of Burketon. Cherished grandfather of Stephan, Gregory, Jaclyn, Sean and Kaitlyn. Dear son of Stepan and Barbara (Kambic) Perichak predeceased. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Church, 426 Burton Ave., Sudbury on Saturday, June 1st, 2002 at 10 a.m. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Prayers 8 p.m. Friday.
