PACIONE, Taly Joseph "Joe" In loving memory of Taly Joseph "Joe" Pacione, 76 years, of Hanmer, who passed away Friday evening, May 31st, 2002 at his residence. He was born in Timmins and in 1944 he married Lois (Thompson) in Timmins. A longtime & well known Hanmer resident Joe had been the manager of CUMIS Insurance Co. for 20 years, retiring in 1987. A devout Roman Catholic he attended St. Kevin’s Church and he was a 3rd Degree Knight of Columbus. A proud Canadian he had served overseas with the Canadian Army in the Queen’s Own Rifle Regiment. A real people person Joe was always quick to help others and share his wonderful good humour. The cornerstone of his life was his loving family. Beloved husband of Lois (Thompson) Pacione predeceased 1983. Loving father of Diana (husband Kurt Steinbruner) of Porcupine, Nick of Hanmer, Carolyn of Porcupine, Lynda (husband Sam Kopytowski) of Toronto, Domenic (wife Tanya) of Val Therese and Danny (wife Joan) of Hanmer. Cherished grandfather of Sarah, Joshua, Kaitlin, Jared, Glen, Jennifer, Darren, Travis, Rachel; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Logan and Emma. Dear son of Nicholas and Angelina (Cantera) Pacione predeceased. Dear brother of Domenic predeceased. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, HANMER/CAPREOL CHAPEL - 4605 Michelle Dr., Hanmer. Funeral Mass in St. Kevin’s Church, Val Therese, Tuesday, June 4th, 2002 at 11 a.m. Interment in the Valley East Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
