SOLSKI, Bronek "Bruno" In loving memory of Bronek "Bruno" Solski, 79 years of Sudbury who passed away Thursday morning, June 6th, 2002 at the SRH - Memorial Site. Born & raised in Coniston and married Stella (Pozdyk) in 1951 in Sudbury. Bronek was a life resident of the Sudbury area. He worked in the Transportation Dept. at INCO having 43 years service retiring in 1984. A Roman Catholic he belonged to Holy Trinity Church. In his younger years he played in the Coniston Marching Band. A keen outdoorsman he enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting. He enjoyed baseball and he was an avid Blue Jays fan. Bruno was devoted to his loving family especially his grandchildren who fondly called him "GeGe". He took a great interest and pride in their activities and accomplishments. Beloved husband of Stella (Pozdyk) Solski of Sudbury. Loving father of Larry (wife Catherine) of Val Caron and Brian of Sudbury. Dear father-in-law of Helene of Sudbury. Cherished "GeGe" of Kevin, Laura, Andrea and Derek. Dear son of Joseph and Annie Solski predeceased. Dear brother of Mary Skakoon, Jessie Solski and Nick Solski (wife Elsie) all of Sudbury and the late Peter and Mike Solski both predeceased. Sadly missed by loving nieces and nephews. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Church, 426 Burton Ave., Sudbury, Saturday, June 8th, 2002 at 10 a.m. Interment in the Civic Cemetery. Prayers 8 p.m. Friday.
