BUTTAZZONI, Alma (Nee Moroso) In loving memory of Alma Buttazzoni (nee Moroso), 86 years of Sudbury who passed away Thursday afternoon, June 6th, 2002 at the SRH - St. Joseph Health Center. She was born in San Daniele del Friuli Udine, Italy and married Emilio Buttazzoni in Italy in 1936. Alma came to Sudbury in 1959 from Italy. A devout Roman Catholic she belonged to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. She enjoyed knitting and crochetting. An excellent cook, she was happiest hosting family dinners. Alma was dedicated to her home and the main focus of her life was her loving family. She took great pride and interest in their activities and accomplishments. Beloved wife of Emilio Buttazzoni predeceased 1999. Loving mother of Luciano (wife Patricia) and Elvia (husband Joe Simon) both of Sudbury. Cherished grandmother of Silvana (husband Frank Simeoni), Claudia Bokan (fiancé Basil Billings), Dino (wife Tracy), Lisa (husband Tom Smith), Steven (fiancée Manon Gauthier), Karen (husband Stefano Tognarelli), and David (friend Louise Methe); great grandchildren Brianna, Andrew, Jeffrey, Cassandra, Brayden and Cameron. Dear daughter of Giacomo and Fiorinda Moroso predeceased. Dear sister of Nino (wife Norina) of Italy and Adorno predeceased (wife Egle of Italy). Sadly missed by loving nieces and nephews. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 591 Brennan Rd., Sudbury, Monday, June 10th, 2002 at 10 a.m. Prayers 3 p.m. Sunday. Entombment at the Parklawn Mausoleum. Donations to the Heart & Soul Cancer Services or VON would be appreciated.
