CALVERT, Wallace In loving memory of Wallace Calvert, 91 years, of Sudbury, who passed away Saturday, June 8th, 2002 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - St. Joseph’s Health Centre. He was born in Nouvelle, Quebec. Wallace came to the Sudbury area as a teenager. He had been a shift foreman at the Copper Cliff Smelter retiring from INCO in 1970 with 42 years service. He was also a member of the INCO Quarter Century Club. Wallace was a founding member of the Lively Golden Age Club. In younger years he was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed travelling, crib and card playing. Wallace was a faithful fan of the Sudbury Wolves for many years. Beloved husband of Dorothy (Carson) Calvert predeceased. Loving father of Joyce Tourigny (husband Rene) of Sherwood Park, Alberta, James Calvert (wife Barbara) of Onaping and Frances Herman (husband Ronald) of Lively. Cherished grandfather of 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Dear son of James and Mary Jane Calvert predeceased. Dear brother of Margaret of Campbellton, N.B. and the late Flora, Mary, Lena, George and William all predeceased. At Wallace’s request there will be no visitation or service. Cremation.
