CUNDARI, Vincenzo In loving memory of Vincenzo Cundari, 93 years, who walked humbly with Our Lord and passed away into His embrace on Wednesday, June 12, 2002 at St. Joseph’s Health Centre. Son of the late Alfonso Cundari and Teresa (nee Marrazzo). Beloved husband of Emma Cundari (nee Tosto) predeceased. Loving father of Teresa Vizza (Luigi) of Sudbury, Alfonsina Carbone of Vancouver, Nella Berardelli (Ernesto) of Sudbury, Alfonso (Marisa) of Sudbury and Maria Pyewell (John) of Vancouver. Dear brother of Sister Alfonsina of Italy. Predeceased by brothers Alessandro (Carolina), Alberto (Genoeffa), Emilio (Teresa), Francesco (Elena predeceased) and his sister Assunta. Vincenzo was born in Figline, Vegliaturo, Provincia di Cosenza, on July 23, 1908. In his forties, he came to Canada, and settled in Sudbury to make a better life for his family. He accomplished that very well. He loved to have his family around him for all occasions and enjoyed sharing his hospitality with all. Vincenzo was also an avid gardener whose garden would flourish throughout the summers. He was a quiet and faithfilled gentleman who attended St. Clement’s Church. He leaves behind a rich legacy of love and joy for those who knew him. He will be sadly missed but always treasured in the hearts of his grandchildren Rita Sorensen (Alex), Patricia Parisotto (Robert), Daniel (Jodi) of St. Catharines, Evelina Galbraith (Paul), Claudio Carbone (Darlene), Giulia Smith (John), Adriana (predeceased), Pina Max (J.P.), Frances Berardelli (David), Dario (fiancee Sharon), Vince Cundari, Amy Cundari, Ellie Payne (Shanen), Joseph Cundari, Frank Fera and Teresa Underhill (Doug). He will be sadly missed also by his many great grandchildren. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. Funeral Mass in St. Clement’s Church, 328 Albert St., Sudbury, Saturday, June 15th, 2002 at 10 a.m. Entombment in the Parklawn Mausoleum. Prayers 3 p.m. Friday. Donations to the Heart & Soul Heart Equipment Fund or St. Clement’s Memorial Fund would be appreciated.
