GOBEIL, Bertha (née Rancourt) The family announces with sorrow, her death in Sturgeon Falls, Thursday, June 13, 2002, at the age of 83 years. Daughter of the late Gelinas Rancourt and of the late Anna Rancourt (née Barbeau). Beloved wife of Eddy Gobeil of Sturgeon Falls formerly of Noëlville. Loving mother of Huguette Girard (husband Claude predeceased) of Sturgeon Falls, Colette Carrière (husband Gaston predeceased) of Noëlville, Valeda Brunet (husband Hector) of Gatineau Québec and Michel (wife Gail) of Pickering. Dear sister of Reverend Sister Eva Rancourt, S.C.O. and Reverend Sister Valeda Rancourt, S.C.O. both of Ottawa, Rhea Tremblay (husband Noël) of Espanola. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Edmond, Valentine (husband Albert Venne), Rodolphe, Victor (wife Marie-Ange predeceased), Florida Poirier (husband David), Alphonse, Alice Beaulieu (husband Eugene), Gelinas (wife Yvonne). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 10 grandchildren, Luc, Carole, Denis, Alain, Sylvie, Michel, Raymond, Jason, Marc and Bryan and by her 10 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Gobeil was a member of "Les Filles d’Isabelle" and also of "La Fédération des Femmes Canadiennes Françaises" in Noëlville. The family will receive friends in the St. David Parish Hall, Noëlville, Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, June 17, 2002 at 11 a.m. in St. David Church, Noëlville.
