LAING, Gary Clare Born on January 28, 1933 in Toronto, Ontario. Passed in North Bay, into the presence of the Lord on Wednesday, June 19, 2002 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Greatly missed by his wife Audrey (nee Perron), children; Mark of Toronto, Brent (wife Diane) of Tennessee, Gary Jr. (wife Bev) of Richmond Hill, Darren (wife Sandra) of Toronto, and Debra (husband Dave Goodfellow) of North Bay. Predeceased by his youngest son Grant. Fondly remembered by 15 grandchildren; Ashley, Jonathan, Nathan, Chris, Amy, Jason (wife Kate), Crystal, Monica, Cameron, Owen, Ian, Spencer, Ruth, Matthew and Nicolas. Also survived by a brother Brock (wife Adrienne) of Kingston. Predeceased by parents Archie and Ruth of Bala, and a brother Earl (wife Dorothy) of Barrie. Visitation at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME, 464 Wyld Ave., North Bay, (705-472-8810), on Friday June 21st from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral will follow Saturday, June 22nd at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel.
