FLETT, Colin James 76 years old died at camp on Sunday, June 30th, surrounded by his family and friends. He joined his wife, Isabel (nee Wilson) predeceased in 1981 and his beloved dog "Shirley". Colin served proudly in the Royal Canadian Navy from 1941 to 1945 enlisting when he was 16. He loved to reminisce about serving his country to his family and friends. He recently was honoured with his 40 year pin from the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #76, Sudbury. Colin came to Sudbury from Bathurst, New Brunswick in 1954, and worked at Frood Mine retiring in 1984 after 30 years of service. He loved to spend time at his camp at Moxam’s Landing on Long Lake. He will be greatly missed by his daughter Jo-Anne Marshall, his son Colin (wife Karen) and daughter Margaret. He was grandpa to Mackenzie Marshall, Lauren, Colin (C.J.) and Anton Flett. He was to son the Colin and Mary Flett, both predeceased of Bathurst, New Brunswick. He is survived by his sisters Dorothy Flett, Rosa Essery, Nancy Brown (husband Lester), Mary Lynn Flett and Ann Flett all of Toronto. He is also survived by his sister Joan White of Bathurst and Frank Steiner (wife Madge) of St. John. Predeceased by his brother Freddie Steiner. In lieu of flowers, donations to Multiple Sclerosis Society, or the Heart and Soul Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Funeral Service in the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury, Wednesday, July 3rd, 2002 at 10 a.m. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium.
