KRASOVEC, Ludwig In loving memory of Ludwig Krasovec. The family announces with great sadness the death of their dear husband and papa Ludwig Krasovec. Mr. Krasovec died peacefully at the age of 72 on Monday morning July 1st, 2002 at the Laurentian Hospital Site after bravely battling lung cancer for the last 5 years. Mr. Krasovec grew up in Slovenija. Emigrating to Canada in 1951. He proceeded to work in the mines before making his foray into sales with the Fuller Brush Company. Mr. Krasovec worked as a successful branch manager for over 20 years. He was well known in the community, particularly for the flowering of his many geraniums each summer. He was a dedicated gardener. His commitment to his immediate family and to his birth family in Slovenija was evident in his words and deeds. Beloved husband of Anna Krasovec (nee Reuper). Loving father of daughter Vera Krasovec (partner Marsha Baddeley) and son Gerhard Krasovec. Beloved brother of Milan, Franc, Mirko, Cvetka and their families in Slovenija. Predeceased by his brother Ivan. Dear son of Franciska and Ludvig Krasovec both predeceased. The cherished brother-in-law of Toni Reuper (late husband Albert Reuper) of Sudbury, Melanie and Joseph Reuper (California), Agnes Reuper (late husband Aloys Reuper) and Erika and Heini Reuper (Germany), also predeceased by his sister in law Klara and her husband George Gomille. Loved and respected by many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews from Slovenija, Germany, California and Ontario. Special thanks to Ludwig’s niece, Marita Reuper and family, friend Joanne Clouthier for their presence at the time of Mr. Krasovec’s death. Many thanks to the nursing staff on the 8th floor of the Laurentian Hospital Site. Their kindness and care was much appreciated over this last month. Thanks to the attending Physician Dr. Jakelski. Special thanks to Dr. Carsan, Dr. Cano, Dr. Cameron and family Physician Dr. Chan for their care and honesty. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral Mass in Holy Redeemer Church, 1887 Bancroft Drive, Sudbury, Monday, July 8th, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. Interment in the Civic Memorial Cemetery.
