WOOLMAN, H. James "Jim" In loving memory of H. James "Jim" Woolman, 60 years of Sudbury who passed away Monday morning, July 1st, 2002 at the Manitoulin Island Health Center, Little Current. He was born in Windsor and married Barbara (Kirwan) in Sudbury in 1990. Born 1941, raised in Powasson. He played Jr. A Hockey in Kitchener and American League Hockey in Cleveland. Jim joined the Canadian Army in 1960. He coached minor league hockey in Copper Cliff for several years and played fast ball in his youth. Member of the Rotary Club for a short time and recently celebrated 25 years of sobriety. Jim’s outgoing personality allowed him to touch the lives of many people. He will be sadly missed by his many friends, family and especially his wife and best friend Barb. Beloved husband of Barbara (Kirwan) Woolman of Sudbury. Loving father of James (wife Isabelle) of Quebec City, Tamara (partner Carl Funk) and Andrea (partner Vinnie Marcheson) both of Toronto; stepchildren Tracy Udeschini of Sudbury, Lisa Land (partner Susan Bashford) of Hamilton, Christopher Land (wife Sue Ann) of Texas, Martha Gillard (husband Keith) of Cambridge and Stephanie Land (husband Jeff Kenwell) of Sudbury. Cherished grandfather of Tamara, Christina, Nicholas, Elizabeth, Winston, Benjamin, Katie, Sarah Anne and Rhys. Will be missed by his children’s mother Carol Robison. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, Saturday, July 6th, 2002 at 11:30 a.m. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium.
