SHIGWADJA, Rev. Emerick In loving memory of Rev. Emerick Shigwadja, 73 years who passed away Friday morning, July 12, 2002 at the Mindemoya Hospital. Beloved husband of Margaret. Loving father of Elizabeth (husband Wayne), Joe Alex, Dorothy (friend Victor), Edward, Harold, Fred (friend Dolores), Debbie Ann (husband James), Glenda (friend Wilfred), Mark (friend Michelle) and Kenneth. Cherished grandfather of Raymond, Cody, Shawn, Petrina, Cory, Drew, Alex, Rosemary, Heidi, Jamie, Sheldon, Sophie, Nim Keehns, Cameron, Hunter, Candy, Jenny, Blossom and Dylan. Dear godfather of Sharon, Jeanette, Jean, Nyra, Trisha, Bill and Nim Keehns. Dear brother of Jacob and Marie Roy both of Wikwemikong, predeceased by Mike, Andrew, Francis, Yvonne, Elizabeth and Alex. Sadly missed by his dog Bebe. Emerick was ordained as a Deacon, June 20, 1987. He dedicated his life to serving his people, anointing the sick and dead, and whom ever needed to pray. Resting at the Pontiac School. Funeral Mass in Holy Cross Mission, Wikwemikong, Tuesday, July 16th, 2002 at 11 a.m. Interment in Wikwemikong. (Friends may call after 4 p.m. Saturday).
