PHARAND, Maurice Ludger In loving memory Maurice Ludger Pharand, 81 years of R.R. #2 Chelmsford who passed away Tuesday afternoon, July 16th, 2002 at the SRH - Laurentian Site. He was born in Blezard Valley and married Yvette (Gravelle) in 1942 in Larchwood. A longtime Murray Street resident Maurice was a truckdriver at Cecchetto Ltd. having 34 years service retiring in 1985. Beloved husband of Yvette (Gravelle) Pharand of RR#2 Chelmsford. Loving father of Philippe (wife Myrna) of Sudbury. Cherished grandfather of Catherine (husband Tim Nurmi) of Wahnapitae. Dear son of Moise and Dovina Pharand predeceased. Dear brother of Gedeon of Chelmsford, Omer (wife Mildred), Leo (wife Lucille), Rita Portelance (friend Rolly) and Simone Beaulne all of Sudbury and the late Marie-Jeanne Germain and Fovita all predeceased. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. At Maurice’s request there will be no visitation; no service; cremation. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
