THOMAS, Ted The family announces with sorrow his death, in Sudbury, Tuesday July 23, 2002 at the age of 85 years. Son of the late Jack Thomas and of the late Sarah Thomas (née Charbonneau). Beloved husband of Donna Thomas (née Krick). Loving father of John Thomas (wife Susan) of Sudbury and Carolyn Lapier (husband Brian) of St. Joseph’s Island. Dear brother of Jack Thomas (wife Connie) of Ottawa and Lillian Cameron (husband Don) of Chatham. Predeceased by his two sisters Ivy and Doreen. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Jason Thomas (wife Angela), Jody Thomas (Jessica), Kristin (Josef Frank), Kerri (husband Dan Boate) and Laura Brown and by his great granddaughter Sarah Frank. Also survived by his step children Kelly Broszat (husband Doug) of Calgary, Alberta, Melanie Fortin (husband Jim) and Kim Stoodley (wife Kathy) both of Witaskiwin, Alberta and Katherine Reich (husband Chris) of Nanaimo, British Columbia. Fondly remembered by his step grandchildren Drew, Aaron, Dustin, Lee-ann, Ryan, Terrie, Tommy, Christopher, Kayla and Curtis. Mr. Thomas, a retired insurance salesman, was also Lieutenant Governor of O.Q.M. District as well as past president of the Kiwanis Club, Sudbury. The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd., East (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury, Friday from 2 to 4 p.m., followed by cremation. 7/25/2002- ID632417 - Sudbury Star
