MOUSSEAU, Garfield "Moose" In loving memory of Garfield "Moose" Mousseau, 70 years, Friday, July 26th, 2002 at the Yukon. Born in Powassan, he worked for over 25 years as the Parts Manager at Campbell’s Chev, retiring in 1993. He was an avid hockey player, playing with the Sudbury Hard Rocks, Levack Huskies and was offered a try out with his beloved Detroit Red Wings. Garfield was a well known coach at the Adamsdale Playground, he remained athletic all his life enjoying many sports. He was an accomplished gardner and had a great enjoyment of the outdoors, especially camping at Grundy Lake. Garfield loved to tease and joke, he always saw the best in life and devoted himself to his family. In later years, he created wonderful walking sticks. Beloved husband of Mary (Janiga) Mousseau of Sudbury. Loving father of Wendy and John McMorran of Orillia, Vicki and Robert Cousins of Hanmer. Cherished grandpa of John, Ethan and Thomas. Dear son of Patrick and Edna Mousseau both predeceased. Dear brother of Iona Campbell (husband Kelly) of Sudbury, Edwina Lechlitner (husband Paul) of North Bay, Joyce Phillips (husband Theron predeceased) of Powassan, predeceased by Shirley Gaudette (husband Larry), Glendon, Winfield (wife Winfred) and Whitney (wife Irene). Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. Funeral Mass at Holy Redeemer Church, Wednesday, July 31st, 2002 at 1 p.m. Interment in the Civic Cemetery.
