GODIN, Gérard "Gerry" The family announces with sorrow his death, Saturday July 27th, 2002, in Sudbury, at the age of 60 years. Son of the late Isidore Godin and of the late Gilberte Godin (née Deault). Husband of the late Nicole Godin (née Gagnon predeceased in 1997). Loving father of Stéphane (wife Carmel) of Cambridge and of Tanya Godin of London. Dear brother of Thomas (wife Viola), Victor (wife Marlene), of Mattawa, Sam (wife Theresa), Jean-Guy (wife Leeanna), of Oshawa, Paul, of Fergus, André (wife Susan), of Hanmer and Hélène Godin (spouse Alex Nesbitt), of Capreol. Predeceased by h is brother Freddy (wife Pierrette of Val Caron). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his granddaughter Hannah and many nieces and nephews. Gerry enjoyed woodworking and working with his hands. He was a "Jack of all trades". The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4570 St. Joseph Street, Hanmer, Monday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday July 30th, 2002, at 10:30 a.m. in Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire Church, Blezard Valley.
